Canal Solar Power Project: 

Installing the solar arrays over the canals keeps them completely out of the way and dramatically reduces the evaporation rate of the water irrigating the crops in the fields! 

Solving the dilemma of where to place the arrays and protecting the precious water supply that keeps the crops alive!  Brilliant!

Solar Light Bulbs from Recycled plastic Bottles!

Recycling discarded plastic soda bottles by filling them with a water/bleach solution and then inserting them in pre-cut holes in the roof! 

The water transmits the light from the sun down

into the room below successfully illuminating

the space with the equivalent of a 55 watt light bulb.  Ingenious!
